Located in the Corozal District of Belize lies the Balam Escape, a 9,500-acre coastal oasis located just south of where the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico meets the Caribbean Sea. Receiving final approval for its expansion, the land is equipped for the incorporation of 400+ oceanfront / waterfront lots, two hotel sites, two commercial lots and two condominium sites, all with access to existing roads that lead to .75 miles of oceanfront. Residents and visitors will be able to gain access to the property by boat, air or road. The site offers waterbodies and lagoons, community greenspace, beaches and additional opportunities for commercial and mixed-use development.
Though there are presently no utilities on site, a large solar instillation is envisioned for power to reinforce the environmentally conscious appeal of the land parcel.
